Gloria Cancino Chacon
Gloria Cancino Chacon was born and raised in Budapest, Hungary. Growing up with immigrant parents and later immigrating herself, Gloria’s passion has always been to serve her community to the best of her abilities. Today, she is a first-generation attorney who immigrated to Miami, Florida over a decade ago. She is fluent in Spanish, English, and Hungarian.
After graduating Cum Laude from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice she went on to earn her law degree from Florida International University School of Law in 2021. Gloria was admitted to practice law by the Florida Bar in 2021. She has served the Miami-Dade community as an Assistant Public Defender since she graduated.
During her time at the Public Defender’s office, Gloria gained valuable experience representing indigent clients from the initial bond hearings all the way to the day of trial.
She developed and executed hundreds of defenses, argued dozens of motions and was successful in many jury trials and probation violation hearings in both the Circuit and County Courts of the 11th Judicial Circuit.
She is highly detail-oriented and passionate about providing personal care and attention to every client every step of the way.
